On tap at Goller Drosendorf. Hazy Cloudy dark amber lasting beige head. Spice aroma. Some ester some banana some malt. Some hop. A little simple as well as complex. It’s OK but just a little mixed up. Some caramel and banana. Odd no off flavours but odd.

On tap at Goller Drosendorf. My first beer in a krug this trip. Yes some noble hop and bitter sting on the finish. Actually this is pretty good. It’s like a dead drinkable lager with good noble hop finish pretty fecken good. A little yeast on aroma some lemon fruit. Utterly drinkable. Cold clean lemon hoppy. Perfect 9 years later. I agree it's good but maybe not as good as I thought. Finish is excellent though.

Bottled. Almost clear pale bronze colour, small head. Doughy spicy nose. Mid dry with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Cellary dough, mild spicy hops. Low-medium bitterness. Edgeless and moreish.

Bottle from REWE, Buttenheim. Slightly hazy gold with a decent, off-white head. Light malts, a touch of sweetness, a perfumed, floral aroma and moderately bitter finish. Good.

On tap at the brewery 25/7/2013. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish, bready malts with some hedgerow fruits and whiff of smoke. Good.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and foamy white head. Slightly grainy malty aroma with delicately notes of butter and a touch of citric and slightly flowery hops. Mildly bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly crisp carbonation. Pale malt-character with shy grainy spots; moderately bitter hoppy finish with mineralic/chalky notes. Tapped: Chestnut-amber coloured,hazy, small to medium-sized off-white head, more bready and malty than smoky nose, supported by some herbal hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, barely medium bodied; a slight fruity touch (raspberries!?) shows up in the slightly lingering and even drier bitter-malty finish, accompanied by a very delicate touch of smoke. Herb-süßer Antrunk mit einen Stich Wässrigkeit, der aber nach und nach versiegt. Das milde Malt wirkt muffig, das Bier insgesamt nicht ganz rund. Süffig mild, zum Ende hin verändert sich das Bier kaum und wird nur etwas bitterer. 11/9/9/8//8
