330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, huge, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, chocolately, minimally nutty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, white coffee, a touch of hazelnut infused white coffee. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, burnt coffee, a touch of white coffee; slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Rather light body, watery texture, dry, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Quite bitter, due to the light body the alcohol shines through, the coffee flavours wear out in pure bitterness - underwhelming.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Black with creamy tan head. Sweet malts, watery coffee, blackberries, doughy malts, earthy. Solid sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied. A bit watery and dirty soil is in the background but it's quite drinkeable.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment'. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, hazelnut, milk coffee and a touch of licorice. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, loads of coffee, hazelnut, some licorice and traces of dark fruits, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter and gently earthy finish. Full body, smooth and gently creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nicely roasty Imperial Stout, fairly impressive for 'only' 8.5% abv. Good!
