Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts fine spicy, modest malty, then more and more soapy-moldy. Finish unbalanced, less spicy. Starts good, but finish too moldy.

(swing top bottle) Hazy, dark brown colour with a small tanned foamy head. Light-sweet, nutty and slightly toasted malty nose with notes of caramel, chocolate and a pleasant hoppy blend. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Toast-malty taste with a touch of roasted barley and caramel, plus minimal fruity accents, staying in the background; dry-ish, nutty and toasty-bitter finish with a shy hoppy touch. Quaffable Dunkel (25.06.07).

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet grainy, cereal-like aroma with a milky and slightly acidic touch, accompanied by light herbal hops and traces of barnyard in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; smooth on carbon. Well-balanced grainy and slightly chalky taste with herbal accents and honey-fruity notes; rather dry, sweet-bitter finish with a herbal and spicy hoppy blend (25.06.07).
