Bottle 50cl. Bought in italy. Amber color with white foam head. Malty, grassy and spicy notes with bitterness. Very good beer. Liked it. Wish I’ve had more.

Cask @ Bishops Arms CPH. Clear dark amber /golden with small creamy tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel and hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit, hops, little sweet and medium bitter.

Fra cask på Charlies Bar, nov-12: Minner fra mitt år i London strømmer på - fargen, lukten, smaken og engelsk pubstemning. Perfekt temperert. Ruddles på flaske og fra håndpumpe gjorde store inngrep i min studentlommebok, og ikke uten grunn - dette er en meget god session beer. Bring it on!

Aroma has toffee, some caramel, English hops and hints of hay. Flavour is slightly sweet with lots of toffee typical to English ales. Also some caramel and hints of biscuits. Very English.

Cask at the Bankers Draft, Sheffield. Clear copper brown pour with a thin frothy head. Not much of an aroma with a slightly malty, slightly bitter taste. Nothing special. Just a thirst quencher. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This tastes a little flat to me. Almost has metallic tinge to it (and it’s from a bottle). Color is copper with small beige head. Aroma is faint, taste is of watery bitter. I tried this many years ago, and it was one of my favorites. Sad to see ti go down hill under Greene King...

500ml bottle - a pretty looking beer, copper body, white head. Heavy hop nose, with a bitter tang to taste. Not bad, but ordinary.
