UTHOKA Brouwstudio Sommelier & Brouwerij brouwde initieel zijn bieren in bij Batches Brewery in Berlicum, een bier-productie-atelier dat eigendom van Brouwerij D'n Draok en UTHOKA was. UTHOKA wasdus feitelijk huurbrouwer in zijn eigen brouwerij... Sinds 2022 is Batches volledig in handen van D'n Draok. Gebrouwen wordt daar nog wel, evenals bij Weerter Stadsbrouwerij.

De Brouwstudio is een project van Uwe-Thorsten Kalms, gediplomeerd biersommelier en brouwer. Samen met zijn team heeft hij maar een missie: bier leven en beleven!

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie en Keukeman. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige geur. De smaak is vol, hoppig met een zoutige afdronk.

*rating overgezet 2018* gedeeld door Benzai. Het is een troebel amberkleurig bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig en carmel achtig.

Fles geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een oranje goud bier met een volle (wilde) witte schuimkraag. Het aroma is moutig en kruidig. De smaak is moutig, kruidig en vol.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, dark orangey, golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Malty and nutty aroma, notes of coconut, rum, fruity hints of peach and apricot, yellow stone fruit in general. Taste is sweet malty, fruity and slightly nutty, notes of peach and apricot, yellow stone fruit in general, coconut, rum. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, foamy, prickly carbonation. Nice fruity flavours, a tad too sweet - good!

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is roast, chocolate, malt, coffee, hint of hops. Taste is the same, some hint of citrus but mainly roasted malt and coffee. quite nice.

Bottle. Brown pour. Aroma of gingerbread, raisin, dates, caramel, soft honey and malt. Taste has sweet honey, raisin, vanilla, dates, figs, malt, caramel, gingerbread and a little yeast. Body is a bit thin. Nice mix of winter herbs and honey, tasty beer.

Bottle at home from advent calender. Clear light amber with lively beige head. Strong cloves, bready, soft herbal hops, light metallic, overripe banana, some red apple. Fruity weizen with some spices,more yeast than hops. Medium sweet and bitter. But crisp oily feel. Meh.

Bottle shared by Johnny. Light amber color, off-white head. Aroma is very sweet like candy and some sort of tropical mixdrink on the beach. Flavor is similar, rum sort of, raisins? Lightly. Mainly sweet, candy sweet. Quite alright though.
