From tap at De Stomme Van Campen. Fruity with some yeasty notes. Tropical notes, melon, citrus, light floral. Moderate bitter with light sweetness. Bit like a White IPA or a Hopfenweisse.

From tap at De Stomme van Campen, Kampen. Aroma is a bit buttery caramel malt. Notes of toffee, some dried fruits, raisins. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Okay, but I like more roast and less buttery malt in my Doppelbock.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber to caramel, with lots of initial head. Aroma is extreme caramel, candi sugar, light herbal hops. Big body, smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and malty, low bitterness, caramel, candi sugar. Surprisingly good, should be classified as a belgian golden ale as it fits that profile perfectly. Nice light hop profile.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with little head. Aroma is german hops, caramel, malt, herbal, a bit of booze. Boozy but watery mouthfeel. Flavour is malty, sweet, herbal. Finishes bittersweet. Quite a bit of hops and bitterness, but not balanced well. Not great.

Bottle. Pale Amber color. Malt, caramel and licorice in the aroma. Malty, dry, with a red berry sour twist. Hints of coreander and licorice. Surprisingly Nice summer beer.
