Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 453 (BBF 11/2017). AROMA: predominant caramelized malt notes from age-related oxidation with a faint dried grass oxidized hop aroma. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and clear. medium beige head with good retention. TASTE: medium caramelized malt notes from age-related oxidation, followed by faint dried-grass oxidized hop note. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with average carbonation. OVERALL: a double IPA that suffered from oxidation and an over-estimated shelf life.
