bottle - thin to medium head with some legs, golden color, average carbonation. This had a good hoppy flavor, fairly well balanced with malts. It’s a pretty plain beer, but not bad, not bad at all.

Bottle. Dark yellow colour. Nice mostly lasting head. Heavy hoppy (flower) aroma, nice bitter taste. A bit watery.

Golden coloured with a weak head. Fruity aroma with notes of alcohol. Brief caramel flavour.Nice bitterness with notes of smoke. Unfortunately there’s some plastic flavours that ruins the whole thing a bit.

Bottle (Pivni galerie; Praha-Holesovice): Pale golden coloured, thin lacing head; weak malty nose, traces of cardboard and cookies; slight malty-bitter flavour, slight but a bit harsh bitter finish. Quite bland, almost watery. Do prdele, a Bohemian Pilsener in the bland german style !

Bottle (bought at Pivni Galerie Prague): Golden coloured, medium sized, a bit lacing ,white head; malty nose (cookies, caramel, honey, nuts) with a distinct floral hoppiness and some resin; heavy malty-bitter taste with a tinge of citrus; aromatic hoppy overtones in the moderate malty finish; well balanced brew and astonishingly refreshing (regarding it’s strength), well hidden alcohol ! Good stuff !

(Bottle 50 cl) Nicely fully golden with a very small, white head. Fresh, hoppy nose and some odd - but delicate - aromatic traces of banana (!) Weird indeed for a bottom fermented beer. Light, lightly watery body and the typical Nova Paka sharp bitterness. Not completely in balance. 010705

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a very small head. Fresh, flowery nose. Some aromatic bitterness, but it’s mainly the bittering hops that dominate. Actuallly the bitterness almost kills my taste buds. But not bad as such. 140605

Clear golden beer; huge yellowish tinted head. Greenery nose (bit like the greenery one cuts from the top of carrots), crystal & pale malts, grain. Starts with sharp vegetable/roasted malts taste, definitely some hops, but then the beer drops dead, leaving just a faint hoppy (hempy?) bitterness. At every new sip a strange tobacco/smoked flavour resurfaces, immediately fading again, making way for the bitterness. Light body, sharp MF, not very lively. Finally, a sweet-bubblegum aftertaste. From all hemp-added beers tried sofar, this is the... euhh... least uninteresting. But whatever extra hemp brings, remains a mystery. It’s all in the mind...
