Bottle. It pours a clear, dark amber to brown body under a small light beige head. Dark rye bread, dried figs, roasted hints and a touch of toffee in the aroma. Lots of dried fruits in the flavor, but still a bit boring I think. Rye bread, toffee and a very faint bitterness. Some sweetness, but not overly much. Medium body, semi-sweet and quite low on carbonation. Roasted hints and some sweetness in the finish. Too sweet this one, but sort of nice. Don’t think I could do a whole bottle on my own. 140322

Bottle. It’s a clear, amber beer topped by a small, beige head leaving lacings. Dried fruits, malt candy and some toffee on the nose. The flavor has dried fruits, some maltyness, sweetness and toffee. Sweet finish. Medium to full body. A decent beer, but nothing impressive and rather forgettable. 100521

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is sweetish and fruity at first, followed by lots of hay, some grass and bready and a note of pine cones. Not very pleasant. The flavor has the same hay as the aroma, with grass, pine cones, bready, yeast and loads and loads of metal. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation. Lasting metallic finish with some bread, yeast and hay. Pretty awful this one, especially the metal is annoying. 140322

Bottle at "Ölkalas hos Ekne". Clear golden with a medium white head. What a bad beer, stale and almost undrinkable. Very sweet with strange flavors.

Bottle. Pours clear dark amber with airy off-white head. Sweet aroma of Brown sugar. Ditto taste, enriched by perfumed honey. Far too sweet and hardly anything that resembles beer. Yuck.

Bottle, 5.6%. Farty aroma, roasted malt, dark bread and perhaps dark sugar. Dark brown colour, seems clear. Small frothy off-white head. The flavour starts off sugary, turning roasted, even with some burnt rubber notes. Strange fruitiness. I wonder what Eire has ever done to the Poles.

Good balance of bitterness and sweetness. Perfect for a hearty and/or greasy meal, a bit hard for the taste only.
