33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight phenolic. Roasted malty, nice hoppy counterbalance. Bitter and roasted into a linger dark malty finish.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 Warehouse. Hazy amber beer. Light dry palate. Fresh sweet malt. Finishes crisp. Competent but dull.

Bottle 33 cl. Clear amber golden with a dense shaving foam style beige head. The nose is sweet roasted malt and caramel. Full-bodied, a little low in carbonation, good base of clean roasted malts, caramel and toffee with basically no bitterness. Solid if not exactly spectacular. 210510

Bottle @ RBESG, Rome. Pours dark amber with a small white head. Nose and flavor are grain, caramel and fruit. Medium bodied.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, grass, some mild grains and earthyness. Flavour is bready malts, slightly fruity, earthy and grassy. Grassy and herbal aftertaste. Pleasant.

Bottle: A bit unclear, pale greenish-golden coloured, big - slowly collapsing - egg-white-like foam; moderate grainy-dusty nose with a light hoppy background; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied, but smooth; slightly lingering, but thinnish hoppy-malty finish. Nothing to complain, but a bit thin.......

Bügelverschlußflasche: Firm and medium-sized off-white head, deep golden coloured; bready-grainy and sourish fruity nose with a very delicate tinge of hops; light bitter-sweetish flavour, light bodied; vegetables and a metallic tinge in the sweetish-sourish finish. Not so good......

(bottle) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Distinctively grassy hoppy aroma with a mildly sweet and shy grainy, also slightly perfumed malty background. Bitter sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Pale malty, slightly perfumed taste with grassy notes; dry and moderately bitter and grassy hoppy finish with a light and papery malty sweetness. 02.I.10

Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a crispy carbonation.
