Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a bitte finish. Not much of an IPA.

330ml can provided by djoeye. Clear straw coloured body. Huge frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Very modest aroma of grassy hops and pale malts. Vague, mid-sweet pale malty taste, hints of honey as well. Sweet and dry to the ending. Rather thin bodied. Anonymous (shared with Finn, Tromsø 24.04.2014).

Boks 0,33l påspandrert av Rune og delt under rateseanse i WCveien 24 Apr 14. Veldig lys gylden. Som skittent vann. Høyt luftig skinnende hvitt skum som varer. Svak aroma. Litt malt. Smaken likeså. Alkoholen manifisterer seg som sødme. Ikke behagelig.

Can. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. The aroma hasn’t got much to offer, but at least it’s just uninteresting and not bad. Pale malts, citrus hints and grass in both aroma and flavor. A pleasant bitterness makes it feel quite dry. Medium body and a decent carbonation level. Short grassy and bitter finish. Nothing special going on here. 140420

(Bottle, Hamrestugan, Duved, Sweden, 20 March 2014) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, hay, grass, citrus and slightly metallic aromas. Malty taste with bread, citrus, grass, hints of canned fruit and a gentle grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Drinkable, but on the boring side.

(Bottle, Hamrestugan, Duved, Sweden, 18 March 2014) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, caramel and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with notes of caramel, chocolate, raisins, prunes, dark rye bread and a finish with low bitterness and sweet hints of burnt sugar. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. In my book more of a dunkel/tmave than a vienna, but fairly drinkable whatever you call it.

(Bottle, Hamrestugan, Duved, Sweden, 16 March 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toffee, apricots, orange peel and citric hops. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange, apricots and a slightly metallic finish with a certain citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain caramel sweetness. Not the most impressive IPA, but for something from Kopparberg it’s quite drinkable. Enjoyable.
