Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a dark caramel brown colour with a huge thick creamy beige head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, toffee, caramel and a hint of bubblegum. Taste has the same notes again with a fair amount of peppery spice too. Thin to medium body, fizzy carbonation on the palate and oily mouthfeel. Well above average Dunkel Weissbier. Excellent.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a large thick creamy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, peppery spice and a hint of pears and bubblegum. Taste has more bananas, cloves and bubblegum with a light peppery spicy finish. Medium body with a fair amount of carbonation . Above average Hefe. Nice and flavourful. Good.

Ich glaube dieses Bier habe ich schon vor einigen Jahren im Zuge eines Würzburg-Besuches einmal getrunken, aber damals nicht bewertet. Jetzt bekam ich es nach einer Hochzeitsfeier als Reparaturbier zum Frühstück. Auch wenn meine Geschmacksnerven sicher etwas abgestumpft waren, fand ich das Bier wirklich gut. Es hat intensive Fruchtnoten und einen schönen weichen, hefigen Körper. Ein sanft-samtiger Keiler und kein aggressives Wildschwein.

(Bottle) Golden colored, filtered with a white head. Aroma of grain, hay, spicy hops and a little heavier hint of caramel. A taste like the aroma, but a lot lighter, with the hops in the aftertaste.
