Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts milder than exspected, malty, modest spicy. A bit moldy. Finish with some wheaty notes. Could be more intense. But okay.

bottle at nuremberg airport. it’s not a Franken beer. it has some light chocolate and hop and banana. otherwise it’s not too bad. no bad flavours just a little bland. Ripe banana lasts

Rating from the archive: Schöne kastanienbraune Farbe mit beige-cremigem Schaum. Der Antrunk ist süßlich-malzig, frisch-süffig. Zum Hauptteil wird das Bier vollmundiger, schön mild und ganz leicht röstmalzig-schokoladig. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, schön mild und im letzten Teil auch wieder schokoladig-röstmalzig, unterstrichen von einer ganz leichten angepassten Herbe

(swing top bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly cara-malty and bready aroma with a shy grainy touch, as well as a whiff of grassy hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Slightly bready cara-malt character with notes of herbal and slightly grassy hops; moderately dry malty and mildly hop bitter finish with hints of caramel and a tinge of herbal hoppy spice.
