Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is water. Aroma and taste are rice malt, alcohol and marzipan notes.

Bottle at Bølgen og Moi Kristiansand. It pours clear, with a little yellowish tint. No head of course. Fruity and rice-ish aroma with a touch of booze. Apples too. Some lemon in the flavor, as well as the rice-ish touch and generic fruityness found in the aroma. Quite oily in the mouth, warming and full-bodied. Fruity and warming. A decent one but lacking on complexity I think. 111029

Bottle 720ml. @ [ The Pool Tabel Tasting in Rome ].

Crystal clear water colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy rice, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, neutral and simple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101220]

300 ml bottle. Subdued, soft, herbal aroma, banana, dry wood and rice crackers. Spicy flavor with estery fruits: banana, melon, even a touch of mango, plus pepper. lots of cantalope melon. Rather alcoholic, Soft, light,airy palate. Very nice, fresh, mild and tasty. subtle and sophisticated.

Bottle 300ml.

Clear cristal water look color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy rice, light licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, rice, dry. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20100904]

Blue bottle. Water coloured. Week aroma. Some week marcipan notes. Moderate powerfull flavor. Slightly sour and some week marcipan notes. Oily palate. not very pleasent but at least not bad.

Bottle. A still, clear, colorless sake. Seems to be a hint of color actually. Oily pour. Some alcohol in the aroma, with apples and pears and some rice. Hints of citrus fruits and a faint cardboard note. Oily and medium bodied, a bit more warming than pleasant. Some sweetness in the flavor, mostly dry though, with a good fruityness. Alcohol and fruityness in the finish. A pleasant one, tasteful, but too evident on the alcohol. 100716

300 ml green bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 15%. Clear, nearly colourless, like water. No carbonation. Aroma of dust, boiled rice, cardboard, fusel alcohol and stale marzipan. Flavour of rice soaked in raw alcohol. The great point about sake still eludes me.
