An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sour with notes of candles. The flavor is malty with notes of straw and candle stearin, but with an OK bitter end and hints of smoke. The notes of candles really draws this beer down.

The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted bread, caramel, and wood. The color is deep red and it has no head. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted bread, caramel, and ginger.

Very dark chestnut with reddish shine; slim, quite white head, unstable. For the third time, meaty smell as from meat in aspic, then going leafy (autumn leaves). Rather sweet to neutral taste, some biscuit malt. There's a short-lived peppery note. Palate just sweet, maltsugars. Thin, light bodied. After some time, the alcohol awakes. Pfouhh. A very weak, sweetened Shiner Bock, with all the bready notes knocked out?

Very dark chestnut; grey-brown head, gone in seconds. Acidity, wheat, taint of sewage water, again the meaty/aspic smell I found in the Meeschter. Some spices. Dark, roasted malts taste, as from the dark barley grains used in French Noirs. Pipe ash flavour. Light-bodied, but not thinnish in texture. I still suspect wheat. Quite nice beer, actually, in a lighter style. I've put up "Dunkel" tentatively, but I've sent mails for confirmation.

Very carbonated at the onset, to white head, falling flat in less than a minute; pale amber beer with cold (?) haze. Very meaty nose, as aspic from a pastry or brawn. Spicey too - I get laurel/bay leaf again and even some hops. Faint malty taste, like a boy's bitter or a pale mild. But always with the bottom-fermenting touch. Very light mouthfeel, weak, nearly dead. Aftertaste brings up some hoppy bitterness. Not a great success, I'd say. Their blonde/Helle is much better.

Pale gold; thick, fluffy white head. Very spicey nose - dry, leafy herbs (laurel?) and nutmeg. Malty taste (pale, sweet, maybe a touch of corn), with a slightly hoppy finish, getting slowly but surely quite bitterish in the aftertaste. Very spritzy mouthfeel, but not overly carbonated. Seems to drop dead, but saved by the bitter aftertaste. Light, refreshing and even pleasing Helles. Much better than expected form a bottled pubbrew product. A good point for the Grand Duchy's beerrevival.
