Bottle from Yamaya. Oily, icy looking, a bit darker than clear. RIch rice nose, melon, peach, a bit of alcohol coming through. Sweet and full flavor, big estery fruits, minerals. Oily, sweet, full. Nicely fruity but a bit too heavy for summer heat. Great stuff, though.

300 ml bottle. Oily, thick appearance. Big fruit, peaches, stone fruits, estery. Rice as well. Sweet, rich, fruity flavor, rice, oranges, apricots. Alcohol is evident. Smooth and full, oily body. Decent stuff.

Bottle from Yamaya. A bit yellowish color. Fresh vegetal nose, rice, some alcohol burn. Herbal flavor with rich rice and some fruits, a bit sweet. Some kind of health stuff seems to be added here, and it is much worse than their normal Junmai at 16%. Not bad, but why?

Bottle sampled at Sumo, The Hague. Pours clear. Aroma of rice, spicy notes and a light malty aspect. Flavour is moderate sweet. Medium bodied with flat carbonation.

300 ml bottle. fruity vanilla and lactic nose, coconut, pina colada. Very milky and cloudy without being thick. Lightly fizzy. sweet rice, peaches, orange, melon, nicely tart and acidic. Full, smooth body, lots of small persistant carbonation. Very milky and lactic.

1.8 liter bottle. Full, rich rice flavor. Light caramel and vanilla. Slightly hazy, oily, viscous. Full, rich rice flavor. Slightly creamy and sweet, caramel or mizu-ame, with a bit of an alcohol burn. Full, rich junmai. Solid stuff.

1.8 liter bottle, at home, with broiled trout and roasted sweet chilis from my garden. Slight yellow tint, oily, clear. Thick. Rich rice aroma, citrus, pepper and spices. Not at all flashy, but very solid. Very fruity falvor, oranges and peaches and melon, with spices. Quite swet, but spices, acidity, and alcohol burn balance it nicely. Very clean, full, meaty, not at all flowery, but delicious. Ligt brown sugar even. Very elegant yet sturdy.
