Glass at Esora. Dry, light, crisp nose without much character. Looks like water. This is super dry, slightly boozy, just a bit of stone fruit in there. Tastes decent, but almost like shochu with water. Not much sake too it. Too dry for me.

Taster at Jam. rich nose nose, some smoke, umami. rich fruit flavor, a bit smoky and salty, umami, lemon. Quite nice.

Bottle from Yamamoto. Icy, crystal clear. Dry nose, some pear, apple, orange, rice. Not hugely fragrant. Clean, dry flavor. Fruity, peppery, some wood. A very dry sake, hints of alcohol burn. Crisp, with bits of tropical fruits coming through, pear, reminds me a bit of a pear schnapps. Good, not great.

Bottle, 700 ml, from Yamamoto. Clear, icy, with just the slightest yellow tint. Fruity, meaty nose, rice, koji, light citrus and stone fruit. Nicely fruity flavor, sweet, with oranges, peach, cherry, rice. A bit of vanilla and cream. Soft, silky, oily palate. Not all that summery. Tasty, no complaints, but doesn’t exactly move me either. Could use a bit more acidity and alcohol to balance this big sweetness.

[ Raise The Roof Tasting ].Cristal clear - no color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate rice, coconut, floral, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, alcohol. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20100731]

Bottled@The Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF shindig. Pale colour, no head. Aroma is wood, some spices, rice and some mild alcohol. Flavour is quite much the same in a very pleasant balance. Nice Sake!.
