Glass from a 1.8 liter bottle.. Icy looking. Nose is toasted rice, light apple, creamy and simple. Grainy, ricy, deep and full toast. Some apple and peach. Full, rich body, with a nice nama crispness.

Bottle at home. Pretty clear pour. Nose is faint star fruit and coconut water. Tastes of the same plus almond, honey dew rind, some wet wood. Semi sweet.

Sampled at Astor Wines. Stemmy wine glass. Clear pour.
Apple & candied banana scent.
Very delicate taste. Vanilla & light grain. A soft, slightly fruity savignon blanc.
Smooth texture. Lightweight. Approachable. Though I’m still not certain on how to appropriately approach rating these here.
Thanks to KyotoLefty for taking the time to list this & others. :)

Shared by thedm at the RBSG grand tasting. Decent but not all that flavorful junmai, with notes of rice and a little fruit.
