Dark orange colour, thin head. Aroma has sweet malt, some roastiness and hints of coffee. Flavour has roasted, sweetish malt and some chocolate. Palate is slightly too high on CO2. Good.

Draught at akkurat. Pours redbrown with with a light tan head. Sweet taste of cola and lightly roasted malt.

On tap at Ølbaren. It’s a dark brown beer, lacings left by the small, off-white head. Roasted malts, caramel and a faint whiff of cooked vegetables on the nose. The flavor has caramel and some roasted malts, a weak but pleasant bitterness chimes in towards the end. Dry on the palate. There’s some grainy notes going on all the way, would like to avoid that, but it’s a decent beer anyway. 110527

50cl from Bierzwerg, BBE 11/2011. Poured amber color with a frothy head. Aroma has caramel and bread. Flavor similar, more caramel and some woody notes as well. Average.

Draught @ Akkurat on September 29. Pours reddish black with a white head. Smell is subtle with mostly roasted malts in it. Taste is sweet and malty with a rather stale bitterness.

Opaque and yellow, head of big bubbles. Stale aroma is filled with banana esthers andsome vanilla. Flavour has ripe banana, some ash and spices. Too much CO2 on palate.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Vague roast, grain and fruit. Flavor is corn and mild caramel. Medium bodied. Decent.

Draft @ Berlin Intl beerfest 2011. Brune claire, mousse légère beige. Arôme de malt grille, caramel toffee avec touche de pomme caramélisée. En buche, malt présent et léger donnant un profile caramel pour une effervescence moyenne, reste très léger avec au fini une touche d’amertume et herbacée.
