Amber colour, tiny head. Caramel, toasted toffee, malts in the nose. Light-bodied. Bready caramel in the light body, toasted toffee notes, grass. Low bitterness, caramalt dominates.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20260508) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain and honey. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, hay and bitterness. A nice malty brew with grassy hops.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20260501) The beer poured pale copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, honey, caramel and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, caramel, honey, grain, hay and bitterness. Aftertaste had grass, hay and bitterness. The caramel notes were very subtle. A tasty and beautiful brew with good drinkability.

Tap at Pikkulintu Puotila, Helsinki. Color is clear light golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, some sweetness, some bread, malts... OK.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, snow white head. Minimally musty, strawy, minimally spicy, pale malty and slightly grassy, minimally floral and citrusy hoppy as well as slightly yeasty aroma, hints of yeast dough, whiffs of horse dung, lemon balm. Taste is mildly bitter, slightly herbal and citrusy hoppy, slightly strawy, minimally bready, pale malty basis, hints of lemon balm, a touch of nettle, white bread, a weak fruity touch of dried apricot, unripe peach, some protein.
Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Slightly rural, minimally dirty in a nice mode - grower.

"Günther-Bräu Maibock", Flasche von Sagasser, KU, 14.4.2026. - Tief goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch sattes helles Malz, nur ein Hauch von Honig und recht kernige, etwas derbe zitronenschalige Hopfung. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig mit gut eingebundener Malzsüße. Frische, lebhaft zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, sauber kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang klingt die Hopfenbittere recht mild aus. - Angenehmer Maibock, deutlich besser als der Helle Bock, den ich 2018 getestet habe.

Dorada limpia, brillante. Espuma normal. Aroma ligeramente malteado, cereal. En boca es ligera, muy agradable, delicadamente malteada, ligeramente dulce, algun toque floral.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, slightly starchy, minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, hints of honey. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally starchy and grainy, pale malty, minimally yeasty fruity and mildly bitter hoppy, hints of honey, a touch of mirabelle, pear, muesli; lingering, bitter hoppy finish.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, scattered, soft to flat carbonation.
Rather sweet, a tad disharmonious - not fully convincing.
