Taster at Aburacho. Yellowish tint, clear. Funky nose, yogurt and cream, maybe plum. Sweet and spicy flavor with a touch of funk. Bold and slightly funky compared to the other, brighter summer seasonals.

Bottle from Isetan Kyoto. Deep honey golden, flat, somewhat oily. Nice umami-filled nose, with citrus, rice, plum wine, and a generally nice, aged fruitiness. Tangy, alcoholic flavor, with cherry, plum, sweet orange, lots of umami. Not as sweet as almost all aged sakes I have had in the past. Nice rice character, and good fruitiness, with a peppery, slightly alcoholic finish. Very nice, with full, smooth, oily body. Very enjoyable and refined.
