Taster at Jam. Oily, shiny looking. Ricy nose with koji. Sweet and fruity up front, with alcohol burn, peaches, mango, and rounded rice. Well done.

Taster at Jam. Sweet and fruity, estery, minerals too in the nose. Full and silky body, spicy and fruity flavor with cherry, peach, and melon. Good.

720 ml bottle from Yamamoto. Faint nose, a tuch of vanilla, melon, and orange, plus koji. Faintly cloudy, somewhat oily. Looks great in the aquamarine bottle. Spicy and rich, koji and alcohol burn, ester fruits like peaches and melon. Vanilla and a bit of coconut. Caramel as well. Very hot, somewhat boozy. A bit sweeter than I want, but not overpoweringly so. Nice rich body. Nice, but not great.
