Description
Located on the east bank of the Tenryu River, almost in the center of the Ina Valley in southern Shinshu, the company was founded in 1907 in Okusa, Nakagawa Village, the same village as the birthplace of Yomeishu. Blessed with high-quality water (underground water from the Southern Alps), the company prioritizes using locally grown sake rice and presses its mash in sake vats, which are now rare. In 2014, the company became a group company of Ina Food Industry Co., Ltd. In order to preserve the beautiful, original scenery of the rural village, the entire group helps with rice planting, weeding the banks, and harvesting the rice. All sake is pressed in a traditional "Sakabune" tank with a lot of time and effort. The basic quality of the sake is refreshing, harmonious acidity and soft umami.
