On tap. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Very fresh peachy hops - a little herbal perhaps. Solid body, heavy caramel and residual sugars with the great aroma hops returning without leaving much bitterness. Perhaps a bit on the sweet side. 260511

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark reddish brown body and a small, dense, beige head leaving lacings. The aroma is yeasty with caramel, fruityness and a vegetal touch. Sourish yet sweet flavor with caramel, nuts and dms. Full to medium body with pleasant carbonation. Sourish finish with caramel, sweetness and raisins. Some smoked notes too. I’ve always heard medievel beer were sour, but todays replicas don’t need to be sour like this one. 110523
