Growler. An amber beer with a lazing cream colored head. The aroma has notes of Nelson Sauvin hops - lending it notes of cats piss in a good way, as well as citrus, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with caramel and lots of hops - especially Nelson Sauvin and again lending it a bit of cats piss, leading to a dry and quite bitter finish. Reminding me more of an IPA than a bock. Thanks yespr for the effort.

2011-06-20, draught at Remouladen, Vejle, 7-4-6-1-11=29
Hazy amber color; creamy head. Caramel aroma, with a pleasant fruity trace. Some caramel flavor, but followed by an ashy (burnt malt, dry) note and by an oppressive bitterness that is difficult to accept, leading to a disturbing final.
2010-04-01, tasting at Papsø, growler, 7-4-6-3-13=33
Hazy amber color; nice, medium sized head. Nice aroma, citrusy hops, some passion fruit. Caramel flavor, quite dry; the bitterness is quite strong, maybe too much, covering the light fruity touch; it’s also a bit metallic. Unbalanced, but not bad.

Growler 200 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear deep golden with a creamy off-white head. Very juicy fat hops in the nose. Medium to solid body with a massive maltiness. Again a juicy hoppiness that leaves a good bitterness in the finish. Not your typical Maibock, but great nonetheless. 010410
