Cloudy blond color. Nice aroma of citrus fruits, wonderful blend of citrus fruits, some malt, spices. Maltier than others, maybe one of the most complex white beers I had. Brøckhouse will always surprise me!

2007-12-08, draught at Plan B, 6-5-7-4-15=37
Dark amber color, creamy persistent head. Light aroma, strong flavor of caramel, really creamy, with a subtle hint of spices; quite sweet, despite the strong bitterness in the end, where a touch of bitter orange peel is more evident; good body strength. Very good.

2007-11-01, draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, vintage 2006, 9% ABV, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Dark brown color with red hue. A quite simple Dubbel, with a good body and medium sweetness, but rather simple features: some caramel, light chocolate malt and the correct hopping.

2007-11-01, draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, vintage 2007, 9% ABV, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Dark brown color with red hue. A quite simple Dubbel, with a good body and medium sweetness, but rather simple features: some caramel, and the correct hopping. Compared to the 2006 it has a more evident apple touch and less character.

2003-xx-xx, draught, 8.5% ABV, 8-5-8-4-16=41
Misty dark amber color, with a thick generous head. Malty nose, with some alcohol. Round taste, not too syrupy as many others, just the correct sweetness for a Christmas beer; the hop balances well the malt in the body and shows up boldly in the long final, which still has some alcohol in the mouth, and misses a more original character, or roasted malt and aromatic hop.

2003-xx-xx, Cask Conditioned, 7.5% ABV, 6-4-9-4-19=42
Hazy dark amber color, poor head. Light malt aroma. Absolutely easy to drink, yet very sweet (but not syrupy); hop just perceivable; pure malt, but very delicate, equilibrated notes; also spicy. The palate is just correct for this kind of beer, of course not very hoppy nor aromatic, but harmonious.
An archetype for the Christmas Ale style, therefore the high overall note. Could drink litres!!!
This is a beer that you appreciate not for the exaggeration (high alcohol, strong hopping, heavy spices...), but for the harmony; and the way it defines the style.

One of the very best danish beers. It is almost orange but doesn"t have much head. It has a slight aroma of oranges. It has a smooth feel in the mouth as IPA"s often have. It has a good sweetness and a good hoppy bitternes yet not as much as other IPA"s (Harpoons for example) - it also has a fruity flavor. All in all a great beer that I drink as often as I"m around a bar that serves it.

A dark brown beer with an OK but fast disappearing head. The aroma is fruity and sweet - very nice. The flavor is great: very sweet, fruity and malty. You do not taste the alcohol content. A really great beer - the best danish christmas beer - but so sweet that I can only recommend on in a set.

Unfilteret and very yellow in color - it has a nice head when poured, but it disapears quickly. It has a very fruity aroma. The flavor is very light, very fruity but with a hop bitterness that lingers. It has a very good balance between the malt sweetness and the hop bitterness. It's a very drinkable beer - a great summer beer - I prefer it over Hoeggaarden Wit.

Cloudy orange color. Very nice hoppy and fruity aroma (oranges), elderflower, caramel. Good body, but maybe the malt is a bit short.

Cloudy orange color. Nice aroma, of hop and mango. Good taste, good body strength, yet quite dry, due to the high hopping. Very good, probably more bitter and less fruity than the last year. Very good ending.

Orange colour, rather cloudy, with a nice creamy and persistent head. Very nice fruity hop nose. Very good mouth sensation, mix of malt and hop, with some roasted malt flavour in the background, and a strong hopping, developing in the end and preparing a strong and long palate, with good hop notes (really Cascade like).

Yellow, very hazy appearance. Light, estery bubblegum aroma. Light bodied but flavourful with wheat, vanilla and banana in the palate. The esteryness makes it Almost lean more towards a German style hefeweizen the a Belgian style witbier. Refreshing.

Amber coloured. Some spicy hop aroma. Malt aceented, but still rather light bodied. Nice hop aroma present all the way through. Just over medium bitterness. A somewhat toned down but well balanced IPA.

Tap at Ølfestilval 2002 A truly excellent member of the style! All the characteristics you love about a wit with a fruty sweet taste in a well-balanced body. Bottle summer 2004 Spicy, a bit vinegary aroma. Cloudy yellow, creamy head. Spice (coriander), lemon-peel, slight yeast. Medium bready body, full for a wit. Moderately good wit.
