AMS is an Amsterdam-based, non-profit, strategic-buying alliance that currently works on behalf of 9 top food retailers. Since 1988, the alliance has been initiating, managing, and coordinating joint-buying activities for its shareholders and, later, for EURO SHOPPER™ distributor members as well.

By pooling and leveraging our retailers’ expertise and volume to source private label products on an international scale, AMS is able to deliver the best possible quality goods at competitive prices. Pale golden, firm head. Medium bodied. Some malt sweetness dried out by a fair amount of soapy, flowery resiny hops. Rounded mouthfeel, notes of butter.

Pours golden, with white, though diminishing head. Quite hoppy both on the nose and on the tongue, and rather nondescript otherwise.

Die Euroshopper-Linie ist die Billigmarke für den Lebesnmittelvertrieb Ahold, welcher in Tschechien die Albert-Supermärkte beliefert. Dort habe ich meine Dose gefunden. In einem Land wo man gutes Bier so billig bekommt, frage ich mich, warum es hier angeboten wird. Es ist ein fades, wässriges Lagerbier ohne besonders Aromen. Lieber nicht nehmen.

Can 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sweet malt, corn. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120330]

33cl can from a supermarked in Greece. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grass. Sweet with a light bitterness and a slightly metallic finish. Thin and watery, but drinkable (and better than Mythos).

Can @ FOneFan. Clear pale golden with medium white head. Aroma is malt and grainy. Flavour is malt, grainy, straw, medium sweet, hop, little watery and a little bitter.

Can @ Fonefan tasting. Nice head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, grassy notes and hops.

33 cl. can @ home. Straw yellow colour with a white head. No real discerning aroma. faint grassy hoppy aroma. Taste is very watery. Weak pilsener.
