Can from a four pack picked up in Arkansas on a family trip - black pour - I appreciate the restraint on this one - the 9% abv is an aberration for such a stout these days, and it leads to a more balanced, semi-dry beer - the adjuncts are also used with a light hand - cocoa, earthy malt, coffee, light tannic character - finish has a gentle acidity - this is really a nice earthy malt showcase and is flavorful enough to sip - lightly warming finish - quite good and I believe my first Arkansas tick.
