Gebrouwen onder de hoede van Eembier.

Tasty Lady is een bier dat niet speciaal voor vrouwen, maar wel door vrouwen is gebrouwen: "om het dogma dat bier echter alleen een mannenwereld is, voor eens en altijd de fles in te drukken". Onder begeleiding van brouwmeester Ruud van Moorst werd er door vijf vrouwen een bier gebrouwen: Jolanda Bührs (Slijterij Drinks & Gifts in Krommenie), Alice van der Kuijl (werkzaam bij De Bierwinkel in Amsterdam), Dagmar Baartman - de Boer (Bierderie), Hanneke van het Ende (werkzaam bij de Mitra in Elburg) en Leni van Gelderen (bierliefhebber).

Draft at Derat in Utrecht. A nice fresh, citrusy IPA that rivals many in the goos ole US of A.

Draft at Arends Nest. Hazy golden pour with big white head. Aroma is grassy, hoppy and fruity. Flavour has same aspects with a bitter finish. (rated 21/9/11)

From tap at Wildeman. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Lacing white head. Aroma is fruity hoppy, light grapefruity and mild peachy. Fruity, estery and peachy. Dry and bitter. Floral hoppy. Bitter and fruity finish.

Fles 33cl thuis. Grapefruit lijkt op Anchor Humming ale maar dan iets minder. (9-2011).

Huge, very dense, slightly cream-coloured head, irregular, leaving lacerings over fully hazy orange-ochre beer with a pinkish (for the ladies) sheen. Aromatic hopsnose, with fruity esters, yeasty notes, exotic fruitaromas, faint aftershave (from ladies?!?); delicate and inviting (Aha!). Citrussy, quite bitter hops, but clean (Aha bis) flavour. Palate has a touch of metallic bitterness. Again lots of exotic fruit (Mai Thai, anyone?). Medium bodied, bit slick, clean. Taste is its main forte. All in all, indeed tasty beer, good IPA!

On tap at In de Wildeman. Slightly hazy light orange colour, white head. Aroma of hops mainly, tropical fruits like passion fruit, grapefruit, blood orange, citrus, light spicy. Flavour is light malty, fruity, tropical fruits, bitter citrus finish. More bitter than I expected. Light to medium bodied. OK.

33cl bottle from ABCbeers. Lots of white foam. Slightly hazy blond pour. Nice bitterness
