Bottle. A pretty mellow beer for a lager. Light, but has a nice malty aroma. Flavors of malts, caramels, and a tinge of hops.

Bottle. Dark amber color. So bottle says Amber ale, but it felt a bit more like a Brown ale. Aroma is malts, with caramel. Overall not a bad brew, but certainly nothing special.

Poured a copper brown color with a creamy, nicely lacing white head. Aroma of malt and sugary candy. Flavor is malty and grainy but sweet. Very drinkable but simple.

Bottle on 02/23/2010. Clear copper amber body with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet floral and light toasty malt aroma. Sweet floral flavor, light toasty and bready malt. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 6/3/6/3/12 - 3.0 11/12/2006 - Clear dark amber body with a small creamy off-white head. Sweet bready aroma. Sweet dark malt flavor ith some mild citrus hops, and a bit of diacetyl. 7/3/6/3/14 - 3.3

On tap at the brewery on 05/09/2009. Clear dark brown body with ruby highlights and a medium creamy tan head. Sweet roast, chocolate and coffee aroma with fruity hints. Roast, coffee, and light fruity flavor. Medium light body with moderate carbonation, but a bit watery. 7/4/5/2/11 - 2.9 On tap at Devils Backbone on 01/17/2009. Clear dark black body with ruby highlights and a medium creamy tan head. Big chocolate and vanilla aroma with some coffee and roast. Coffee and chocolate flavor with some vanilla hints. Medium full body with moderate carbonation. 7/4/8/4/14 - 3.7 11/07/2006: Dark black body with a large creamy light brown head. Roasted malt, chocolate and some coffee aroma.
