Pour is a deep black with a small white head. Aroma is dark chocolate but you have to use your imagination to find it. Flavor is a bit of coffee and chocolate but just like the aroma all of this is pretty weak. If you could make a bland stout this would be it.

Pour is a buttery looking yellow with a white fluffy head. Aroma is of faint hops. Flavor is very weak. Some hops and a very slight citrus to go along with some yeast but nothing to even care about. Overall pretty bland.

Really good winter beer. Strong flavors of rosted coffee and chocolate. Aroma quite the same. Not a bad finish either.

Milwaukee YEHa!05, brought by MIBRomeo. Cloudy yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Aroma of pine, bread, toast, and a hint of stinky sweat (???). Piney, biscuity body with nice bite and bitterness, cutting the malts to perfection. Rather heavy on the hops, per style. Solid.

Fully diminishing light-brown head. Dark amber color. Aroma of malts and caramel and some sweet fruit. Very noticable caramel flavor, more fruit, .and some toffee hints. Original rating: 6/3/8/4/16

Black, fast fading tan head. Toasty light chocolate nose.Notes of chocolate and coffee,with a dry malt roasty bitterness finish. I quite like it.

Bottle Pours a hazy deep golden amber witha dense yellowish off white head. Nice sweet hoppy aroma Honey and light malts. Flavor has that same light malt flavor that is quite sweet like warm toast with butter and honey. Hops are not very prevelant esp for the style. Feel is a very rich and quite heavy. Aftertaste is where much more of the hops bitterness comesthrough and realy stays with you.

2004 or 2005 bottle from Liquor Mart, consumed on 10/12/2005. Pours a coppery-amber color, very clear. Massive bubbles rising, with a thin, white head that barely even covers and recedes quickly to a touch on the edges. Smells of light berries, touch of honey wheat and a hint of lightly toasted grains. Deep barley smell is nice, but faint. Can’t find any hops in the nose. Yeast is not apparent. Flavor begins with some dough/breadiness, a touch of grassy/hay-like hops and then gets moderately sweet. Hops on the end, with some plastic as well. Kind of buttery. Though there is some hops bitterness, malt presence goes nowhere but downhill from the start. Mouthfeel is poor - huge bubbles bother my throat and create a broken consistency.. Medium-light to light body. Bits of spotty lacing. Not crisp on the end. Begins to get soapy the more I drink. Not enough body. I’ll stop now. . . .

Bottle. $1.49 for a 12-oz single. Very light yellow with a small white head. Lotsa bubbles. Aroma of banana and clove. Flavor... hmm... initial reaction was that it’s bland, but it’s actually quite nice. Starts with banana, middles with spices (clove, pepper), and finishes bubblegummy. I am actually kinda impressed with this one.

22 oz. bottle, enjoyed 10/5/2005 while biting my nails watching the White Sox cling to a 5-4 lead. Pours nutty brown with a big frothy head. Smell is nice and malty, though not enough to give a hint of its intentions. But the taste really is something different. I get just a hint of smoke and plum, maybe even pipe tobacco floating above a sea of English ale and porter malt. Then the comfy roasties of a dry stout come to the fore. Ends up with a dense feel that gives an impression of barrel-aging. As nice a mix of two great tastes as Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
