Bottle from McTapps, ta Sabine. Hazy lemon with a medium head. Aroma is dusty grainy malt. Flavor is fruity, yeast, dry hop on a long bitter fruit finish. Palate is very dry.

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, bitter. Geschmack röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, würzig bitterer Abgang.

Das ganze Bier ist irgendwie ziemlich neutral im Geschmack. Im Hauptteil taucht eine leichte malzige Süße mit einer leicht herben Note auf. Von diesem doch schönen, leichten Alt-Aroma ist im Nachgeschmack aber nichts mehr übrig. Das einzig noch ganz positive ist, dass das Bier sehr schön süffig ist --> für Parties zum "Runterkippen" bestens geeignet (da auch mit 7,29 die Kiste recht günstig), aber sonst auch zu nicht sehr viel mehr. Wenn ich ein schönes nicht so teures Alt genießen will, dann nehm’ ich das "Niederrhein-Alt" für 70 Cent mehr die Kiste…

Bottle from trade with Koelschtrinker, shared with Joes. Clear dark amber/dark red color, average sized beige head that diminishes quickly. Smell malts, dark fruits, dried fruits. Taste malts, dried&dark fruits. Little bit fizzy carbo, low to medium body.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Looking quite nice in the glass, a dark golden beer with a small, off-white head. Buttery, toffee-ish aroma with a fruity touch. A bit heavy on butter on toffee in the flavor too, at least for my likings. Some fruityness and a little bitterness too. Medium body, dry. Toffee, bread and some hints of coffee in the end. A boring one, far from a favorite. 110128
