Clear dark brown color with a thin light brown head. Caramel malt aroma with some fruit and astringentness. Dark malt flavor with a bit of sugar and stale chocolate.

22 oz bottle. Rich dark beer, with dark tan head. Not a very powerful aroma, but deffinatley a great amout of flavor. This was a stout that I wouldn’t mind drinking. Heavy coffee flavor.

On cask at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 08/28/2008. Cask conditioned and dry hopped with cascade. Cloudy orange body with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet caramel and cascade aroma. Very sweet raw word flavor with some caramel and cascade. Medium full body with moderately low carbonation. 7/3/7/4/15 - 3.6 From the brewpub at the 12th aniversary party. Rerate from tap at Legend, 2006: This years version seems to have gotten a bit sweeter and a bit closer to a hefeweizen with a lot of banana and yeasty notes. Bottle 2005: Hazy orange color with a thin creamy white head. Slightly sour aroma with hints of malt. Slightly sour flavor with hints of sweet malt. Original Rating: 8/4/9/4/17
