Description
Legend Brewing Company is a commercial microbrewery providing true premium beers to many of the best pubs and restaurants in Richmond and other areas of Virginia since January, 1994. Our mission is to bring to our customers the finest and freshest brews as flavorful alternatives to mass-marketed mainstream products. We're one of the few craft breweries in this region producing both lagers and ales, which require different yeasts and maturation conditions. All Legend beers are unpasteurized and made from only two-row and specialty barley malt, hops, water and yeast.

22 ox. Bottle. I’m a little shocked. Little skunky aroma that I’m used to with pilsner beers. Yellow color with white head. Fruity and hoppy flavors.

22 oz. Bottle. Dark color, like midnight black with light brown head. Caramel, chocolate flavor, with something I can’t quite grasp. Pretty good overall, and not as filling as other porters I have tried.

22 oz bottle. The beer pours a Red-Brown color, light tan head. Roasted, nutty, and sweet aroma. Slightly caramel and brown malty flavor. Hyped up, but quite enjoyable.

22 oz bottle. Quite strong. Golden pour with little head. Flavor I couldn’t quite pinpoint (some kind of fruits), but was quite good. Extremely dry finish, and overall was a great find.

22 oz. Bottle. Could it be that my beer is fresh (as it only is traveling around 75 miles to get here), and thus is kept cool like the bottle says throughout the trip? Very hoppy flavor, citrus aroma. Not too overpowering, quite nice.

22 oz. Bottle. Fantastic find. Orange color, powerful aroma of a variety of fruit was shocked by the very fresh flavor without any bad tastes or aroma.

Bottle. Pours a brilliant orange ambre with a huge head. Sweet citrus, grapefruit, mango, butterscotch, and almost a slight caramel aroma. Outstanding. Flavor is along the same lines, with a lot of butterscotch up front, followed by a very nice long hop linger. I like this one!

Bottle. Brown, small head. Aromas of dark fruits, sweet malts, caramel, and fig. Nice flavor! Stars clean, followed by a slight malty figgish flavor, which is followed by a nice mouthful of alcohol... then finishes smoothly. LOVE the lack of alcohol in the finish- really appreciate it in the middle. Good stuff!
