500ml bottle from Tavour. Brass colored pour, a few bubbles, then flat. Big burst of tangerine upon opening, light caramel, agave. Taste evens out the tangerine and caramel malts, still have light agave notes throughout. Even at 7% it still seems carry a bit of heat.

500ml bottle pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is citrus tangerine notes and some bread malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet tangerine citrus hops and a light malt.

500ml bottle from Brewers Haven. Near black pour, patchy beige head. Chocolaty aroma, some fruity notes, like chocolate covered cherries. Not cherries though, passionfruit, tropical to and floral flavors with the cocoa sinking into the background. Light roasty elements throughout tapering off to a small dry, bitterness at the finish. Happy Anniversary, Pelican!

Roast and rye whiskey. Some chocolate, coffee. Black pour with great mocha head and good lacing. Whiskey tang finish. Decent if you love whiskey, but the whiskey part definitely overrides the beer element. Bitter and tangy finish from mash rye malt. Tap at brewery.

Roast and some sharp dark chocolate. A hint of nut. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter refinish with a touch of tang, probably from raw cocoa. Tap at brewery.
