Description
Pelican Brewing Company was born at the beach in Pacific City in 1996. Here, in front of a rundown old building at the water’s edge, stood three enthusiastic young folks whose thirst for great beer overshadowed their understanding of what it would take to build a brewery. They did it anyway. And now twenty years later, older, and wiser, Pelican Brewing Company is a craft beer industry leader with fans throughout the Northwest and around the world. Today we’ve taken our breweries and our values to other Oregon coastal towns where we wake up each day in a place that reminds us that amazing is possible. Cheers fellow fanatics. This is as good as it gets.

12oz can pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is mango some nice ripe citrus hops and a light cereal malt. Taste is more of the nice fruit hops and a light bitterness on the end.

12 oz can poured. Enjoyed a pint of this at Pelican, Tillamook a few weeks back, but knowing I had a can sitting at home, I decided to just spend my time taking in the new brewery and enjoying the fresh, delicious, refreshing juicy IPA without pen and paper. A nice golden orange pour with moderate haze. Not as thick as many IPA's with the same name family as far as appearance goes, but it does drink very juicy. It has such a refreshing, cool melon like fruit flavor to it, that is unique, and deserves to be described better than I'm able to. Ripe fruit, melon aroma that was noticeable upon cracking the can. Lingering soft melon hop bitterness. I'll take a six pack of this and golf 18 any day.

Here we go, a light smooth saison with floral juniper notes and fruity back. Perfect gin barrel aged saison. Tasty.

Draught, ES. Dull straw and not so cloudy. Not much head, ok but a bit flat. Moderate bitterness and a light pine/weed note. Ok but I would say the malts let this down.
