33cl bottle from SIP veini- ja õllepood, Tallinn. Pours clear mahogany with a modest off-white to beige head. Malty aroma with caramel, hints of roasted malt and spices. Fairly sweet, but not to cloying, rather mild flavours and not much bitterness. Hardly very interesting, but drinkable enough.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Lior D. Dark brown. Aroma of wort, caramel, malt, grape juice, paper, and a licorice note. Sweet flavor with caramel, wort, grape juice, licorice. Light-bodied, kinda sticky. Not my thing.

Bottle (from UJH). Pours dark brown with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, malty, grainy, spicy. Flavor is sweet and slightly bitter, malt, some grainy notes, spices, toffee. some licorice. Body is watery. Carbonation is on higher side. Overall: passable as sweet-spicy-malty-watery-lagerish drink, but has nothing to do with sweet stout (current style in rb). Ohh and -1 to overall for using food coloring.

33cl bottle at Keflavík Airport. A typical Eurolager; straw coloured, thick white head; cereal aroma and taste; and a light bitter finish. No off-tastes, but nothing endearing either.

Can at Glymur Hotel, Hvalfjörður, Iceland. Golden amber with a fast fading white head; grainy aroma; syrupy body with a pleasant bitterness. Rather plain and ordinary.
