From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Metallic. Dark malty and slight caramelish. Toasted and dark malty finish.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Dark brown verging black. Sweet and toasted malty with some sweet burnt caramel and cocoa notes, brown sugar, earthy, holy backing, slight toasted nutty accents in the close.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of prunes, over ripe fruits, bread, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, prunes, over ripe fruits, herbs, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

33cl bottle from BeerExpress, Tallinn. Pours clear dark mahogany with a modest off-white head. Malty aroma with mild roasty notes, solid caramel and dried dark fruits with a hint of spices and alcohol. Sweet and caramelly with raisin flavour and warming alcohol. Bottle (from Koht). Pours dark brown with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, metallic notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, caramel, coffee. Finish is roast bitter and somewhat watery. Carbonation is rather high. Alcohol is somewhat noticeable.
