Sampled @ Eindhovens Bierfestival. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light brown colored head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, heavy roast, dark malts. Taste malts, roasted malts, dark malts, old coffee, dark malt bitter.

330 mml bottle as part of the European Summer Secret Santa 2017 edition, many thanks to Benzai for this bottle. Tasted on the 07/09/2017. Orange to amber colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel and light hops. Taste is medium bitter with a sweet finish. High carbonation. Next one please!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Polleke Bier, Veenendaal. Black with a beige head. Roasted malts, coffee en chocolate in the aroma, with also a hint of vanilla. Sweet taste, creamy round mouthfeel. Very solid imperial stout.

Bottle @ home. Unclear orange to amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit sweet, slightly a plant like hint, slightly a soft bitter hint in the finish. Average to decent body and carbonation. Mwah.

8 4 8 4 16 33 cl bottle @ home. Pitch black color. Rather dense, rocky light brown head with good retention. Aroma’s: dark dried fruit, a little salty. Retronasal it’s sweet, molasses, dark malts, a bit coffee/mocha, umami, light leather and tar.. Flavor is moderate sweet with some bitterness and umami. Rather strong alcohol feel. Above medium bodied. Roast, tar and bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly good.
Nog eens een tweede maal, met een flesje tht 01/02/2025, dus ws zo'n 3 jaar oud? Schenkt zwart, schuim meteen weg. Vrij sterke vanille geur, met geroosterde mout. In de mond wat droppig en licht rood fruit. Smaak is middelmatig zoet met wat geroosterde bitterheid en drop. Beetje dun mondgevoel, maar de alcohol is wel merkbaar. Afdronk geroosterd, gebrand, bitterig. Nog steeds behoorlijk lekker.
