Bottle shared at THT July. Black with nice light brown head. Lots of licorice, roasted malts, soft herbs, earthy notes, light dead leaves. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Over medium bodied. Not my thing.

8 3 8 3 16Bottle shared at THT July. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, espresso, light oak, licorice and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized dense brown head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is malts, brown malts, roast. Taste malts, roasted malts, moderately bitter, malt and roast bitter with a slight liquorice hint in the distance. Medium body and carbonation. Quite solid.

Bottle shared with Deanso and Maakun at Gekke Geit, The Hague. Hazy dull amber with a small off white head. Aroma of strawberry yoghurt, pine, glue notes and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Almost opaque brown to dark brown color, small off-white to beige head that diminishes quickly. Aroma is malts, brown candy sugar, caramel-ish. Taste malts, caramel, brown sugar, light hints of dark fruit like sweet blue grapes. Average body, low to average carbonation.

Flesje gedeeld tijdens proeverijtje. Geel-roodachtig troebel bier. Aroma is licht fruitig. Smaak is rokerig, fruitig en hoppig. Nasmaak is bitter.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus, Inoven and TomHendriksen. Clear orange color, average sized white head. Aroma is a bit musty initially. I don’t get the pine tops they talk about on the label, although, after a while, I do get a slight hint of some resin or pine. Taste malts, lightly resin, lightly bitter. Lingering (Dutch) "beetje wrang" bitter aftertaste. Meh.
