Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket, not shared with thirteen other people. Aroma is caramel malt, fruity marmalade, spruce, natural pine resin, and a spicy/herbal touch. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Much better than I expected, bittersweet pine resin marmalade.

Belgian style blonde ale (but brewed in Flevoland, northern Netherlands) with added ‘pine tops’, which I assume are young pine shoots. Thanks to Craftmember! Egg-white, mousy, opening head lacing in dots over a misty orange blonde beer with deeper amberish tinge. Aroma of peach jam, honey, orange water, yellow strawberry, fruit yoghurt, sweetbread, some rusty and even ‘chicken soup’ oxidation, pumpkin pie, apple. Sweet onset, strawberry jam, ripe apricot and pear notes, medium carbonated, slick and rounded mouthfeel; caramelly and sweetbready malts with a layer of honeyish, somewhat resinous and perfumey sweetness on top which need to be ascribed to the pine tops; light spicy hop bitterness, herbal, with lingering orange peel and honey sweetishness. Bit too sweet, in all, because I was expecting something much more resinous and piney considering the added ingredient; still a very enjoyable, technically well-made beer though.

2/III/19 - 33cl bottle @ Tim's Tremendous Taco Tasting, BB: III/2020 - (2019-338) Thanks to Vincent for sharing the bottle!
Pretty clear orange beer, lots of small chunks floating under a small creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, some caramel, jam, sweet impression, sugary, dried fruits, bit oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: strawberry jam and cherry jam, caramel malts, pretty oxidized, soft bitterness, little piny, resinous touch. Aftertaste: malty, sweet, some alcohol, strawberry jam, bitter notes. Pretty decent one.

Interesting. Foamy. Sweet up front, followed by a bitter aftertaste. Resiny in the back, some fruit in the smell. Not bad at all, maybe a bit one-dimensional after a few sips. Good with my pasta, refreshing.
