Can - aroma started a bit sour but with more smelling seemed more grass-like. Flavor of fresh grain/grass with a slightly sour aftertaste. Not bad - better than Tuborg "Der durstiger Mann" Autohof beer.

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is dominated by chili - not very beer like. The flavor is also dominated by chili. An interesting beer.

A light amber beer with a fine caramel colored head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw - very simple. The flavor is sweet with hints of caramel, straw, and hops giving it a dry but metallic end, and the body is thin. Not a good expansion to the Danish beermarket.

Bottle. Mild chocolate malt aroma. Reddish brown color with small head. Dark chocolate malt and moderate hops flavor. Slight watery. Extremely cool concept they had in 2003 was a beer Advent’s calendar (24 cans of beers). Better than the children’s calendars that give you a little piece of gritty chocolate. Good marketing tool but beer was just average.

The German Rasthof (truck stop) beer - the first can of beer I ever bought legally. Grainy malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Slightly sweet corn/barley malt flavor. Sold at every Autobahn rest stop. Average but the can is pretty cool though.

Neutral grain aroma. Orange amber, foamy head. Soft hop and hay flavors, lightbodied, slight flowery aftertaste - not awfull but not really exiting either.

Draft, St. Petersburg Russia. Am I being too hard on these pale lagers? After all, they are nothing more than the style dictates. But I’ve still had micro pale pilsners that blow these international "premiums" away. Alright, this is immediately paler and less malty than the Lapin Kulta I just had, but there’s a certain smoothness of character that must be acknowledged. It does seem free of the adjunct and addictives of an American macro, and it has a nice lacy foam and plays well in a flute glass, and when I set the glass down, it kicks out an attractive stream of bubbles. But while it has nice sensory character, it’s still just "beer" taste.

Canned, in-flight. I will hand it to Scandinavian Air: they serve only Scandinavian beers, even if they are pale lagers. Not a Bud or Heinie in sight. This was in a can labeled "Tuborg Green Label," which is now being pitched to young consumers. It pours out a big meringue head that keeps you from getting to your beer for a while. Smell is very sweet, in Rolling Rock territory. Sweetness is not as evident in the taste however. Maltiness is a little hard to taste until after a few sips. Then some malt and hops come out as you swallow. But it also comes across a little too thin. I wonder what they serve on the Belgian airline.

Golden colour, clear, no head. No aroma. Sweet and fruity with burning chili finish. The chili kills some of the inherent flaws of regular Tuborg, but instead makes the beer nearly undrinkable in another way.
