Description
We’ve lived, breathed and brewed beer since 1995 when our founder Colin Brown established Belvoir Brewery.

Brewing started in June 1995 based at 6b Woodhill Industries, Nottingham Lane, Old Dalby. The plant is a collection of redundant equipment from other breweries. Moved at the end of November 2007 to their current location at the same time upgrading to a 20BBL plant.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2011. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-whit ehead. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with hoppy hints.

Thx benzai for sharing, like always :P Amber to copper clear colour with a creamy off-white head. Smells malty and grainy. Tastes bitter, grainy.. typical ale taste. Dry, bitter mouthfeel, ok carbo and creamy.

bottle at home ... copper ... thin bubbly white head ... sweet toffee malt ... light caramel nose ... soft toffee malts ... ligth hints of stilton ... very weird ... light metalic ... quite dull .. with an odd weirdnesss... but definite stilton hints

Bottle @ home, shared with DutchDrebus. Full creamy off-white head on top of a clear dark red / brown colored beer. Smell malts, grains, lightly roasty and bitter. Taste malts and lightly bitter. Fizzy carbo, medium body.

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, molasses, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110804]

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as light notes of metal and straw.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee, butterscotch, some thing stange i do not like - maybe the stilton ! Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20110807]

Cask@GBBF2011. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is bready malts, some toasted notes as well as some floral and wooden notes. Flavour is plum, raisins, some wooden juice, mild resiny and grassy notes.
