Fles gekregen van Inoven, gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en chocolade. De smaak is vol chocolade, gebrande mout en een koffie achtige afdronk.

Bottle. Fruity aroma with lots of citrus, bready wheat, grain, hay, soft yeast, and notes of perfumed hops. Flavour is mildly sweetish with a moderate bitterness. Body is thin to medium. I don't get the clove and banana I associate with German Weizen, drinks more like a citrussy Wheat Ale. Rough around the edges.

Bottle. Huge uncontrollable foamy head. Aroma is peppery Belgian yeast with estery and spicy notes, malt, fruity notes with citrus peel, soft floral touch. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with an above average bitterness. Body is medium, bit unstable. Pretty ordinary Blond but a little more bitter, could have used more refinement but I found it drinkable.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Nose is good promising a nicely fruity and peppery Saison, but alas, this is 't Wapen after all... Aroma is boiled vegetables with yeast, soft fruity notes, pale malt, touch of citrus, more vegetable. Flavour is moderate sweet and slightly bitter. Body is medium. Vegetable off-flavour = not good.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is brown malt withcaramel, nuts, some liquorice, DMS (vegetable/cabbage), yeast, nutmeg, spicy notes, and a touch of candy sugar. Flavour is above medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Not as bad as some of the other 't Wapen beers, but a pretty poor Quad, simplistic with DMS-like off-flavours.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is toffee, caramel malt, touch of rotten fruits, no roast to be found. Inappropriately sourish flavour, weak body despite the abv. Horrendous product, truly shameful this was released as it is.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Aroma is sweet malt with caramel, yeast, ripe fruits, stewed fruits, some orange and mild spicy notes. Flavour is above medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Unremarkable sweet malty Tripel, stewed fruits, not terrible like most beers from this 'brewery'.

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, hint of coffee, sweetness. Taste is the same, bitter, roast, rather sweet, light bitter, not too bad.

Fles gedeeld tijdens proeverijtje, gedronken met Benzai, Tomhendriksen en Keukeman. Helder bleekgeel bier met een wit schuim. Aroma van hop, mout en gist. De smaak is waterig maar toch fruitig en hoppig. Weinig nasmaak.

Fles tijdens proeverijtje gedeeld met Keukeman, Tomhendriksen en Benzai. Goudgeel bier met matig schuim. Aroma is hoppig en fruitig van pruimen. De smaak is fruitig van overrijpe pruimen. Nasmaak is iets bitter maar de fruitige smaak blijft ook even aanwezig.
