Opaque brown color, small beige head. Roasted malt, peaty smoke and even a hint of salty licorice on the nose. Medium-bodied. A pleasantly soft, smoky stout despite its 10% ABV. Roasted malt, sweetness and smoke.

Bottle at home. Opaque pitch black color, average sized medium brown colored head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, very firm peat, peated malts. Flavor is malts, peated but not over the top like the aroma, actually in the flavor it really adds something to the beer. Flavor is very balanced indeed. Malts, dark malts, peat, malty bitter, dark malts again, slightly ash. Decently bitter. Soft carbonation, quite smooth texture, decent to medium body. Intense aroma, but the beer itself is really nice imo.

Fles via Keukenman, geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een medium bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en rook. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, rook en chocolade.
