Tap at festival. Pitch black with beige lacing. Quite boozy with saffron, liquorice, roasted coffee, sweet vanilla. Taste is just a bit too boozy, lacks balance.

Bottle 330ml. @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Värmdö Svartsö Stout ].Clear dark black brown colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, funky notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, wood, funky notes. (Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 30 Sep 2017) Hazy yellow colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, wheaty nose with white bread, lemon and passion-fruit. Wheaty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and white bread. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Odd, but drinkable and fairly refreshing. Quite enjoyable.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 28 Sep 2017) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of apricots, toast and orange. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, orange peel, apricots and a gentle fruity bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but hardly exciting. Enjoyable.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 28 Sep 2017) Pinkish amber colour, hazy, with frothy white head. Sourish, fruity nose with lingonberries, red fruit and lactic acid. Fruity, tart taste with notes of lingonberries, tart berries, sour milk (filmjölk) and a tart and dry finish. Light body, quite dry. A bit one-dimensional, but interesting and quite tasty. Quite nice.

[ As Värmdö Fyrvaktarens Midvinter ].Clear medium to dark brown - red amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, toffee - candy, light caramelized malt - bread. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel. Gulbrun klar med høyt hvitt skum som forsvinner fort. Masse gjærrester igjen på bunnen av flasken. Tok med halvparten, slik at den ble tåkete. Lukter korn, gjær og noe sitrus. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Sitrusskall, noe banansødme, hvete og krydder.
