The first construction modifications began in September 2013 and we started operations on August 18, 2014. You can find the brewery and inn in the village of Chomoutov, near Olomouc, in the PLA Litovelské Pomoraví.
As you can imagine, we derived the name of the brewery from the name of our village. Chomoutov itself has a long history and was first mentioned in writing in 1078. The brewery is located in a more than a hundred-year-old Haná farm, in the former stables, which have undergone a complete reconstruction.
We started brewing beer for ourselves, as homebrewers, so that it would taste good to us. And because it tasted good and not only to us, we enlarged it once and the second time we preferred to build a real brewery. Nevertheless, we still brew at home and, according to our friend, we are home brewers with the largest brewery in the country. We want to continue brewing beer that we and you will like.

(Draught at Kulovy Blesk, Prague, 18 April 2018) Deep golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, cereal, hay and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, cereal, grass, some toffee and a fresh herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and well made Czech pilsener. Quite nice.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Dear head, I tried a lot but you simply refuse to remain in place... It's like with coke and same it's with carbonation which I find quite high and more suitable for soda. Taste is okay, some coffee, some malts, somewhat sweet with bit sour finish. It's okay.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Now these are interesting hops. Very earthy and grassy aroma with herbal finish. Tastes medium bitter with lasting taste. Hops are rather significant. Thanks for showing me new hop breed!

Tap at Salon piva. Rather fruity, flowery, perfumey, the typical saisony spice is not present. Nor is the hemp. Otherwise a good beer, slightly harder to drink for me, as is usual with saisons.
