Description
Note: For sale since start of 2025, taproom "temporarily closed", beers brewed at Jarošov.
The first construction modifications began in September 2013 and we started operations on August 18, 2014. You can find the brewery and inn in the village of Chomoutov, near Olomouc, in the PLA Litovelské Pomoraví.
As you can imagine, we derived the name of the brewery from the name of our village. Chomoutov itself has a long history and was first mentioned in writing in 1078. The brewery is located in a more than a hundred-year-old Haná farm, in the former stables, which have undergone a complete reconstruction.
We started brewing beer for ourselves, as homebrewers, so that it would taste good to us. And because it tasted good and not only to us, we enlarged it once and the second time we preferred to build a real brewery. Nevertheless, we still brew at home and, according to our friend, we are home brewers with the largest brewery in the country. We want to continue brewing beer that we and you will like.

0.75l bottle from a friend. Deep brown with a tall off-white to beige head leaving lacework. Lots of dark malts, coffee, chocolate, pleasant but shy sweetness and some earthy hops in the finish. Smooth and velvety. A very nice Tmavy!

(Draught at Kulovy Blesk, Prague, 18 April 2018) Deep golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, cereal, hay and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, cereal, grass, some toffee and a fresh herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and well made Czech pilsener. Quite nice.
