«Василеостровская Пивоварня» - одна из старейших частных пивоварен г. Санкт-Петербурга. История началась с любви к пиву, когда в 2002 году мы решили сварить вкусное пиво, отличное от того, что по тем временам было представлено в магазинах.
Таким образом, на Васильевском Острове на свет появился наш первый сорт – «ВАСИЛЕОСТРОВСКОЕ Домашнее». Сваренный однажды для единственного ресторана сорт, настолько пришёлся по вкусу публике, что это положило начало нашей истории, длиной в десятилетия!

Bottled at PBF. Dark brown, small head. Caramelly nose with oxidized madeira. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Raisins and madeira, brown sugar. Caramel. Warming mid bitter finish. Some extra years of maturation contributed to the port like character.

BBE 2020. Brown colour, no head. Soya sauce, toffee in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Sweet, toffee, brown sugar and berries, unfortunately also lots of cellary notes. Originally very good I think... PBF XV. Corked and caged bottle.

PBF XV. Coppery black colour, small brown head. Aroma is cellar, some dried fruits, plum, mild toasted tones. Flavour is dried fruits, some toasted tones with mild plum. Mild alcohol too.
