Tasting at Matt’s
Dark brown color, medium head. Very mild aroma, some roasted malts. Strong body, but also quite boozy; dark caramel flavor, but without depth, moderately sweet, and it has a touch of liquorice in the end.
Not a bad beer, a bit arrogant, and chaotic.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice mix of bourbon barrels, bready malt and dark dried fruits. Flavour is quite woody and bourbon heavy, with loads of the barrel coming through, followed by caramel and dark dried fruits. Quite dry, with low residual sweetness. Harmonious and well-balanced. Excellent.
