This 24oz aluminum beauty is courtesy of bvc. The can pours clear pure gold with white head. The aroma has robust notes of apples, apricots, plums, raisins, corn juice and white caro syrup. The taste is very sweet, dear lord, unjustifiably sweet. I get slick sugary apple cider, sweet corn, apricots, pears and some straight up esteriness. I can’t drink more than an ounce or two without some food with it to temper the sweetness.

Big scary clear bottle with a label that has exxes all over it. But I guess even the finest black imperial stouts have that too, and that is in common with the qualities of high alky and unpalatability. Pale ubiquitous american lager color. Smells somewhat like the cheapest wines. 40 ounces of cheap clear buzz. Taste is rather rude and obnoxious. Has a goodly amount of carbonation but the awkward forward flavor steps all over, in front of it and overrides the experience. Finish? Heheheheh, poppycock! Yowzer Bowzer. Perfect example of the style we in america have come to know as the cheap malt liquor. Isn’t it odd that these characteristics are so common throughout the Melanie line of cheap lagers? Ignoramous maximus.

Heheheh, on the label it says xxXxx !!!! Big 22 oz mug from a forty. Typical strong, may I say cream corn, malt liquor smell. Nearly repulsive on the olfactory. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color but big white head that goes surprisingly rocky, how bout that! Big strong alky flavors like any strong lager but more coarse in it’s own way. As rude and brutal as any imperial stout, IIPA, barley wine or the worst ale. Cheap malt liquor is the question to any high alky ale that may provide an answer! IMHO WTF!

Strange malty, dusty aroma. Orange tinged golden color with a white head that even laced on its way to oblivion. Stuff looks like a decent tripel. Thinnish in body, creamy/fizzy carbonation. The flavor is pretty much sweet malt (a bit corny) with a lot of heat. Tends to burn the mouth. It does not taste offensive, but there are so many other beers that taste anywhere from ok to wonderful. I think just tasting this gave me a headache.

24 oz. can. The aroma is almost, but not quite corn. Arguably malt. Not much hop, perhaps a hint of grassiness. No alcohol in the vapors until a very deep inhale. Clear brassy gold color with a very respectable white head. Medium bodied. Fizzy carbonation. Instant burn. Sweet, almost sticky. Just holding it in my mouth had an effect on the frontal lobes. This seems designed to lay one out rapidly. The finish is a vegy, odd sweet. There might be some bitter, but the overall effect has rendered my palate to a state of questionable reliability. Time for some quick rinsing.

Smells sharp, alcoholic, metallic. tastes sweet, highly sharp and putrid. Looks fizzy, clear. I don't know why I even bother with stuff like this. Wow is this stuff foul. I will concede that the mouthfeel wasnt all that bad though, for a cheap malt liquor.
